It always gives me great pleasure to introduce the piano to someone, but it needs to be clear from the outset that a distinct level of commitment is needed from the student. A teacher can only guide and motivate a student to practise outside of lessons, which is where the majority of progress is made. I believe that it is fair to emphasise that you think carefully before taking piano lessons with regard to your time and finances. I also believe that anyone can learn, but only if they want to.
